This film is an incredible work of Christian devotion. Naturally, American audiences regarded it as deeply sacrilegious. Interestingly it has basically the same plot as The Crucible and comes to similar moral conclusions despite not being written by a communist. Worth watching!

We successfully pushed this to an upcoming special meeting of the NPC, where there will be another opportunity to remove it from executive session. DSA members deserve to know what their leaders are doing in meetings, and we will continue to fight for transparency.
@DSASocMaj @GroundworkDSA (1 vote each) and @breadrosesDSA (2 votes) just used their majority on the NPC Steering Committee to hide our proceedings on the Nithya Raman issue from DSA members. We will now conduct that business in secret.

The fact this has to exist sucks and yet i support it here because it is the standard the right of NYC-DSA has made (and used plenty themselves) through 1m1v. if people are upset , they should vote for the W2W slate so the chapter can become an actual deliberative democratic org.

Nithya Raman has chosen to represent a political vision of “progressive except for Palestine.” Convention has drawn a line in the sand that dozens of candidates across the county have bravely refused to cross. The NPC must not offer special treatment to one holdout.
The worst thing about the current NPC is that it consistently violates its own policy on executive session bc many of my colleagues are scared to argue their positions out in the open where DSA members can see. It’s set to happen again tonight with the Raman issue. Shameless.
