On Friday, Mary Lavin Place will be launched by family friend & Laureate for Irish Fiction, Colm Toibin, at Wilton Park- an @IPUT_plc development.

Millions of you are asking if I somehow knew about the Oasis reunion before I decided on the title of the new book. The answer is no. But if they end up selling a few concert tickets off the back of my book, then fair focks to them.
Great to see @conorniland1 The Racket included here. Thanks @johnboyne

Also do yourself a favour and pick up The Racket. It is such a fascinating, compulsively readable look at life on the tour, replete with colour and insight.
If you’re a tennis fan, you’ll love it. If you’re not a tennis fan, it might make you one.

When I read about The Racket by @conorniland1 & @gcooney93, I knew it sounded right up my alley and immediately pre-ordered it.
Last week, I received an e-mail from Eason informing me that I had won a pair of tickets to Queen’s Club Championships for my troubles!

I am so excited to be able to reveal my book about professional tennis, ‘The Racket’, will be published on June 6th by Penguin Randomhouse in the UK & Ireland.
Ed Caesar of The New Yorker magazine called it “elegant and powerful…a rich, mordant and affecting portrait.”
