Voice actors! We get asked a lot “How do I stop sounding like an announcer and improve my script reading?” Here’s some tips:
- Reading copy aloud daily at home.
- Recording yourself and critiquing ( don’t be too mean to yourself).
- Taking VO classes, especially improv.
- Learn the content and the “ why“ behind the script.
- Practice with non-script material like a text message or email
- Keep , or work on maintaining proper posture.
