Before GST cut: ₹650
After GST cut (Sep 2025, 12%→5%): ₹610
Then periodic hikes by Siddaramaiah government:
Nov 2025: ₹700
Jul 2026: ₹715
Nov 2026: ₹850 (current)
₹240 total hike right after the GST relief.
To hide this price loot, Congress supporters posing as “Kannada activists” are busy attacking IT companies.
Such dramas by those wearing the mask of Kannada to protect a government that keeps raising prices on ordinary people and to divert public attention elsewhere are nothing new.

For the same reason Govt tried introducing Farm Laws but farmers went with tractors to oppose it.
Now why are they complaining instead of dancing 😏
A company can increase the price of a packet of chips by ₹5. FINE
A restaurant can charge ₹300 for a plate of food. FINE
Big brands decide their prices, protect their profits and pass rising costs on to customers. FINE
But a farmer who spends 4 months growing tomatoes has to beg the mandi for a reasonable price.
Farming is a business too.
Just like other businesses, farming also has expenses like seeds, fertilisers, labour, water and transport + weather risks.
And when the tomatoes are finally ready, today his tomatoes might sell for ₹20 per kg. Tomorrow, the same tomatoes might sell for ₹2.
And the farmer has to accept it anyhow.
THIS IS THE REASON WHY FARMERS ARE CALLED ANNADATA.
How soon before they start crying that auto rickshaw sector is taken over by Biharis & other North Indians and that they want reservation for driver jobs? 😏
