Alex Golesh knew he had a lot of heavy lifting to do when he took the Auburn job after five straight losing seasons on the Plains, and a big part of that lifting was having the cojones to make the tough decisions.

Last time @TerpsFootball had a winning record in conference play was Ralph Friedgen’s final season in 2010. Terps were in ACC at the time. They joined Big Ten in 2014 and have never won more than 8 games overall. Locksley did it in 2022 and 2023, but this would be third straight losing season.
