Mein Eindruck ist, dass die Leute, die in der Politik am häufigsten von „Innovation“ und „Disruption“ reden, am wenigsten verstanden haben, was diese Begriffe bedeuten. Und dass die deutsche Industrie in sehr akuter Gefahr ist, kaputt-innoviert und -disruptiert zu werden.

The #TwitterLayoffs have already started to set a dangerous precedent in engineering. Yesterday I was approached by two junior engineers. They asked if lines of code is a KPI to go for. If we were ever to layoff people would this be decided by that metric? #GreatJobElon

This is wrong on so many levels as others have pointed out before. I only hope less technical management people are not trying to turn this into a best practice for future measurement of developer productivity.
