Was very cool getting to watch MSU football equipment manager Justin Jessop prepare some of the helmets that the Bobcats will wear in honor of Native American Heritage Month when they host UC Davis. Grace will have a feature on these awesome helmets next week! #mtscores

HC Jim Harbaugh on his father's advice for when to retire: "You coach as long as you possibly can until you cannot do one more script, you can't walk out on the field for one more practice or do one more gameplan-that's when you know you should coach for two more years."

Great teams don’t focus on what they have to do. They focus on what they get to do, and gratitude turns the grind into greatness! 💪🔥

Dad in the crowd yells “show him the cutter”. The pitcher throws the cutter and the batters takes him yard. Same dad yells “don’t show him the cutter again”.

Celebrating others isn't just generous; it’s training your nervous system to feel safe with success. If you can't cheer for someone else’s win, you’ll subconsciously sabotage your own.

About 10 yrs ago, we 'swapped' our Wed/Thur philos.
🔹 Wednes = Mental Reps 🧠 (Helmets only, no competing, all play polish & kicking)
🔹 Thurs = Fast & Physical ⚡ (Shoulder pads back on, ramping up for Friday)
Why? An Olympic track coach told Chip Kelly: "The worst thing you can do the day before a meet is take the day off. Rest should be two days before, with a short, full-speed session the day before."
90% of @fastnwide coaches use this method—& they love it. An added bonus? Thursday’s practice is sharper and more positive, with fewer mental mistakes because of Wednesday’s polish.
