Freshman year before we left for winter break, I asked a junior teammate what he’d be doing for the holidays?
“Two-a-days til I get back. Starters do two-a-days.”
So two-a-days was what I did too. Best advice I could’ve gotten as a freshman.

Freshman year I didn’t play. I hated my coach. I wanted to transfer! Then I realized I sucked, I had a bad attitude, & I was a terrible teammate.
Ultimately, I didn’t transfer. Instead I chose to change.
Sometimes it’s the coach - sometimes it’s the man in the mirror.

To all the D3 athletes who have continued to show up. Continued to do the work in the classroom, in practice and in the community. Through all the uncertainty. Through all the testing and protocols. You are incredible. I hope you all get to showcase your talents soon.
