Coach’s story was as genuine and honest as they come. Didn’t shy away from the peaks and valleys that have made his journey truly “Off the Beaten Path”

Lexington → Laramie.
At the time, each stop felt like separate chapters. Looking back, all were part of the same story — shaping how I coach, lead, build relationships and serve others.
Grateful for the people who have invested in me along the way, and grateful to @OffBeatenPath_ for the opportunity to tell the story.
The dots keep connecting, and with each one, I’m grateful for the way they continue to refine and prepare who I am as a man/coach.

‘27 Jaylen Ivy is back at his game this afternoon. Pushing tempo and transition & creating havoc defensively.
He dropped a spectacular dime on a baseline drive.
All signs point ⬆️ for Ivy & West Forsyth.
📌 @wfhsbasketball @1VYJAY1EN
Jaylen Ivy is a fast and shifty guard who sees the floor connecting with teammates on his drives to the basket or scoring himself.

‘28 Ben Elson should be on a lot of radars this winter.
6-4 wing who shoots it consistently. He looks comfortable this afternoon with @wfhsbasketball.

Thought provoking question from a recent call with an NBA scout looking for prospect intel on ‘27 class.
How would you describe his relationship with basketball?
— Like it?
— Love it?
— Obsessed with it?
