Takeaways from Kennesaw State’s practice 1) Antoine Pettway is INCREDIBLY detailed and an absolute rising star in the industry 2) There might not be a more talented starting 5 at the Mid Major Level in the Country 3) They were able to return 3 key pieces in Amir Taylor, Trey Simpson, and Kaden Rickard from an NCAA Tournament team, which is unheard of in this era 4) They were able to get two All Conference caliber players to transfer to them from within conference - Jacoby Hill (Jacksonville State), and Avery Thomas (La Tech - Double Double vs the Owls last season) 5) They can REALLY shoot the ball and run great stuff - Can tell there is a Nate Oats influence to what Pettway and his staff are doing 6) They are huge - Most likely starting 6’5, 6’8, 6’8, 6’9, 6’9 7) They have a bunch of impactful Freshmen that will play key roles, proving that there is value in those that still recruit talented High School Players hard BUY.
