Proud is an understatement.
Proud of the win. Even prouder of our players and staff.
Yesterday, our guys made this young man feel like part of the team. This morning, he was still talking about our players by name.
We’re building something special, and it’s bigger than football.

This.
I will never apologize for celebrating our kids when they do well on the field. Idc what the score is. When kids who come to practice everyday score or make a play they will be celebrated like the starter!

This is 💰 in so many levels.
Hands down one of the best exchanges between reporters and an NFL head coach I’ve ever seen, featuring Titans HC Robert Saleh and the local media.
What started as a simple question about the complexities of Saleh’s zone defense and why there might be some early growing pains turned into nearly seven minutes of incredible insight.
Saleh explains why the system takes time to learn but can eventually produce top-five defenses. He breaks down how players learn to attack offenses by understanding what they’re trying to do to them, rather than simply dropping to a spot and defending grass.
He also dives into the evolution of his defensive philosophy, drawing from his experiences around Pete Carroll’s Cover 3/Legion of Boom system, Vic Fangio, Monte Kiffin and others. He discusses the key positions that make the system work, his overall philosophy on defense and so much more.
I’ve heard DeMeco Ryans speak glowingly about Robert Saleh, how brilliant he is and how instrumental he was in DeMeco’s development as a coach. But I don’t think I fully appreciated what he meant until watching this.
Just an incredibly bright defensive mind.
And what makes this especially fascinating from a Texans perspective is that DeMeco is essentially building and running a variation of that same defensive philosophy, with some of his own wrinkles.
It’s particularly relevant right now given Houston’s struggles with defensive communication and executing its coverage rules. Saleh provides some excellent perspective on why these systems can be so difficult to master, how players eventually develop a deeper understanding of what offenses are attacking, and why that understanding allows them to play faster and more aggressively.
Must watch.
Let’s freaking go man!!!
It was a great day for the Norse ⚔️🔵⚪️
Best record since 2017 👏
This team is led by 18 seniors and our best football 🏈 is ahead of us
Excited to see our growth this weekend for homecoming 🎉

I see a guy just trying to do his job.
Should Travis get the ball? Yes.
Will Travis get the ball? Yes.
What’s the policy? When do players get a game ball? Does this guy know that policy?
This is a leadership and communication issue.
Fresh Alaskan Coho Salmon (personally caught), wet maple sugar brine (12hrs), smoked 3 hrs with apple wood, added maple bourbon glaze at 1hr and 30 min mark, turned up heat last 30 min as well.
Coaches’ mid-season dinner tonight.
Blessed to be a part of this organization.

Great leaders stay students 📚.
Lord, help me learn from my past, the wisdom of my mentors, & the mistakes of those who refuse to listen, change, or grow. Teach me through trials, reveal my true state, & guide me to Your principles through every season. 🙏
Is it really him…could it be? The one…. the only…RAM MAN?!?!? @Kristoff66_CSU
Moose is a real one. Keep eyes on him!
First two weeks of my sophomore year, coming off injury I had a mediocre start. But have definitely been warming back up to the environment and game again.
