Less taxes, more results. As your Senator, I fought to make Alabama more affordable, and as your Governor, you can count on me to do the same.

Packed house in Mobile last night🇺🇸 Alabama understands that we are in a fight for the soul of this country as Socialist Democrats want to destroy our Constitution and our Christian values.

We all know Obamacare completely destroyed our healthcare system. In Alabama, countless rural hospitals have been forced to close. That’s why @senkatiebritt and I fought so hard to make sure nearly $500 MILLION in funding from the One Big Beautiful Bill will be going to support our rural health care providers. yellowhammernews.com/britt-t…

Countless Alabamians work more than 40 hours a week at their jobs. They shouldn’t be punished with higher taxes for working longer hours. That’s why I worked to get NO TAX ON OVERTIME signed into law as part of the Working Family Tax Cuts. xitter.cf/yhn/status/20445437744…
U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) marked tax day Wednesday by highlighting the no tax on overtime provision he helped shepherd into law, saying more than 25 million Americans have already filed for the exemption. Speaking on a press call with reporters, Tuberville pointed to IRS data showing the average tax refund is already 11 percent higher than last year, crediting the working families tax cuts included in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which President Trump signed into law on July 4, 2025. “No one likes to pay taxes, but thanks to President Trump’s working families tax cuts, Alabamians are getting to keep more of their hard earned money right now,” Tuberville said. @SenTuberville co-introduced the Overtime Wages Tax Relief Act in May 2025 alongside Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS), which was ultimately folded into the One Big Beautiful Bill. The provision creates a tax deduction on overtime wages of up to $10,000 for individuals and $20,000 for married couples, targeting middle and lower income workers. The deduction phases out for individuals earning above $100,000 and married couples earning above $200,000. Read full piece: yellowhammernews.com/on-tax-… #Alabama #ALPolitics #TaxDay #Tuberville

In my first Defense Authorization bill back in 2022, I was able to secure the initial funding for new barracks to be built for Fort Rucker. Four years later, they are finally open. aldailynews.com/fort-rucker-…

You do realize Democrats had 136 years of control over the state Legislature. Why didn’t they cut the grocery tax then? Instead, they left the state BILLIONS in debt and voted to give themselves pay raises during the 2008 financial crisis while Alabamians were suffering. We cut the grocery tax in half last quadrennium and delivered over $1.5B in tax relief. We’ve been able to do that while fixing the education system your buddies broke and building the strongest economy in our state’s history. The same delusional leadership you brought to your brief stint in the U.S. Senate is showing in a big way right now. Can’t wait for Coach to send you packing… again. #voterepublican
Well it’s about damn time. Your Democratic colleagues have been proposing elimination of the tax on groceries for years, I have been talking about it since I started my campaign, but it takes the realization of the possibility of losing the governorship and a bunch of seats in the legislature 2 weeks before the election for you guys to have an election year conversion for something that should be happened years ago while you have been in charge.

Every Alabamian deserves access to safe water and wastewater, regardless of their zip code. NO ONE in our rural communities should be left behind. My amendment to the 2026 Rural Development budget secured $1.5 million for the construction and updating of decentralized wastewater systems. alabamagazette.com/story/202…

When I’m Governor, workforce development will be a HUGE priority of mine. Marshall County Technical School is setting the gold standard. They are creating more pathways to good-paying jobs for Alabama’s students while meeting critical workforce needs in our state. I appreciate them letting me stop by this week.

"Former U.S. Senator and current Alabama gubernatorial candidate Doug Jones has repeatedly called for eliminating Alabama’s landmark Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students’ Education (CHOOSE) Act. His argument, lacking in facts and steeped in elitist rhetoric, relies on a fundamental misconception: that allowing families to direct their children’s education dollars somehow harms public schooling and denies 'true' choice," Stephanie Smith writes. One of the top issues I hear about from Alabamians every year is LOCKING THE CLOCK. I’ve been a vocal advocate of making Daylight Saving Time PERMANENT. It is my goal to get the Sunshine Protection Act signed into law before I leave the Senate. xitter.cf/1819News/status/198112…

That’s not a plan. @CoachForGov has a great plan for infrastructure that includes widening I-65. #gowide65
Former Democratic U.S. Sen. Doug Jones is calling for an independent review of the Alabama Department of Transportation. Jones said the examination is needed because “it has been a long time since any review” has occurred.

Replying to @DougJones
@DougJones' campaign & aldotcom's credibility have both collapsed. I never expected @CoachForGov to have a detailed plan and Jones to have nothing, but that's exactly what's happening. If this were a boxing match, the referee would stop the fight because Jones can't answer the bell. This campaign is stunningly bad. This is not a "counter" as aldotcom claims. This is Jones saying he's got nothing on yet another major issue. Early in the campaign, it looked like Tuberville would ride on Trump's popularity while Jones rode the anti-Tuberville train. But it has become Tuberville's detailed plan on issue after issue vs Jones' non-plan on issue after issue. Tuberville says he wants to begin adding lanes to I-65. Jones says let's do a review of ALDOT, as if anyone needs a review to know I-65 is a stinking parking lot. Tuberville says embrace data centers, prohibit incentives for data centers, and let locals decide what they want in their community. Jones says pause data centers for a year and Montgomery will decide what you can do. Tuberville says expand school choice and give more families the opportunity to decide the best educational path for their children. Jones says he'll stop school choice in its tracks and the state will decide what's best for your kids. Tuberville is proposing details to move forward while Jones is proposing studies, reviews and stalls. #alpolitics
