My Thanks to @BreedersCup for having me join their team @keeneland in the ‘Winners Lounge’. After each BC Race the Winning connections were ushered in & I’d say some welcoming words with a Toast & introduce Special Speakers. It was a remarkable Two days & each of the 14 gatherings were unique, but I wanted to share Two moments that stood out for me. Friday after Sun Goddess won the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf, her Trainer Aidan O’Brien asked that EVERYONE in the room be in the picture. He went around the room personally inviting all the workers staffing the room to be in the picture, as he said: “Let’s remember this moment.” I’ll never forget the gesture from a true Legend. Saturday, one of the VIP speakers I was introducing was @UKFootball @CoachWillStein If you’ve followed the Cats success this year, Two Key Wins have come after Coach Stein has elected to ‘Go For Two’. The decisions have become the focus of an extremely popular T-shirt. I looked at several Brick & Mortar shops and couldn’t find the Shirt. Instead I asked Coach if he’d pose for a picture with me ‘going for Two’. He couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Being in his orbit you understand why Big Blue Nation loves their Football Coach. Sophia Braden was the assigned Photographer and I hope more of her work from this job gets into the public sphere. She was excellent at capturing the heartfelt joy of each celebration. I certainly loved this BC assignment. It was an honor & a privilege to be up close & a part of all these Championship celebrations. Congratulations to ALL, and my most genuine Thank You to everyone I worked with and everyone I got to celebrate with 🤓
