I don't look for talent, I look for this right here. It has to be in you not on you. This is why so many staffers are missing on kids. The talent can be there but without that dawg in them you will be fired smh 🤦🏾♂️.

Pat Narduzzi was asked about becoming Pitt football's longest tenured head coach tonight.
"I came here in 2015 to coach at Pitt. I had no intentions of ever leaving. I've had opportunities to leave, I've stayed."
He pulled a quote out of his suit jacket that his late father used to carry with him.
"Remember this - if you work for a man in heaven's name, work for him. If he pays your wages, which supplies you bread and butter, work for him. Speak well of him, stand by him, stand by the instiution he represents...that's what it comes down to is being loyal."

If you've play for a coach that runs a disciplined program, holds you accountable and pushes you out of your comfort zone to get the best out of you, you're lucky. Coaches who hold you to a higher standard believe in you.
