OKC Head Coach Mark Daigneault was asked how they adjust after losses.
“We don't wait to adjust to when we lose. We try to treat every game in a very neutral manner. Learn from the games. Improve certain things, adjust others. Keep some the same and that process is the same regardless of win or loss.”
Too many people say, “You either win or you learn," but this framing is incomplete.
If you only learn when you lose, you’re leaving growth on the table. Learning shouldn't be reserved for failure.
Sometimes winning reinforces habits that won’t hold up later.
The best teams (and leaders) don’t let the result dictate the reflection. The standard is the standard.
It's not "You win or you learn."
It's "Win or lose, you learn."

Amaya Battle on Minnesota WBB Sweet 16:
"There's a ton of talent in MN. Growing up, watching them in HS, a lot of talent would leave
I think all of us from MN who stuck around showed you can leave a legacy at home & make it cool to stay here again.
We had a time doing it ..."

I just got told that the Gophers WBB have sold over 9,700 tickets for Fridays game with under 24 hours before tip off!
Not quite a sell out yet but The Barn is going to be rocking.
