This is great for anyone. No matter what level of coach you are and what position you hold, nothing that needs to be done should be beneath you. Show up early, coach up 9th/JV, get any and all work done, fill up the waterboys, pick up the field. You're not too good for anything.

Some of the replies/quotes are hilarious. This drill legitimately works on contact balance and ball security. Ask any of the RBs that have played for us and done drills similar to this. Now the dudes with the sticks could use some work lol
Rain Sunday? Wet ball drills today.

WHY DO WE COACH? It’s not for the wins, the recognition, or the Friday night lights. It’s for the relationships. To help build young men, teach life lessons, and make a difference that lasts long after the final whistle. The wins fade. The impact lasts forever. That’s why we coach.

Take life one day at a time. You don’t need to have your whole future planned. Deal with what needs your attention now and leave tomorrow’s worries for tomorrow.

Hey Coaches, Someday, someone else will have your job. They’ll sit in your office, wear your gear, and lead the program you once called yours. That’s not meant to diminish the importance of your work. It’s simply a reminder that we’re all replaceable professionally. But there are roles in your life that nobody else can fill. Your children only have one you. Your spouse only has one you. Don’t become so consumed with being excellent in a role that someone else can eventually fill that you neglect the roles that only you can fulfill. I’m all for pursuing excellence in your profession. But just make sure you're bringing that same commitment to the roles that only you can fulfill.

Develop a strong opinion about yourself. Know exactly who you are and who you aren’t. Decide it early. Hold it hard. If you don’t, someone else will tell you who you are. Hear it enough times and you’ll start believing them.
