I watch everything sent my way. I also try to respond to everyone. I’ll watch your dog if he in helmets and pads on the field. Shoot that tape 👀 I ain’t hard to find I’m looking for 🫵🏿
If you're a coach below the FBS level, you need to keep your DM's open because your program does not have robust resources to find all of the best players who will fit your program. Open your DM's and make it easier on yourself by watching the film sent to you. #BDPRecruiting

One of the biggest mistakes players make in recruiting is thinking that reaching out to a college coach is a one-time event. You send an email. You don’t hear back. You assume they’re not interested. That’s not how this works. College coaches are busy. They’re evaluating hundreds of players, managing their current roster, traveling, and coaching games. Your job is to make it easy for them to evaluate you. Send the first email. Include your metrics, video, academics, and why you’re interested in their program. Then follow up. When you have new video, send it. When your metrics improve, let them know. When your schedule comes out, share it. You’re not bothering a coach by providing meaningful updates. Recruiting isn’t about sending emails. It’s about making it really easy for coaches to evaluate you. And remember, none of this matters if you’re not continuing to develop as a player.

To every 2027 player who woke up this morning still uncommitted: You're not behind. You're in Phase 2. Phase 2 separates the players who want it from the players who wanted it. Which one is your son? — Coach Drew coachdrew93.com

When college coaches and recruiting departments evaluate high school football prospects, the process goes beyond athletic ability, statistics and highlight films Character, maturity, accountability, coachability and overall program fit all matter Parents also need to understand how their behavior can influence the recruiting process Recruiting red flags parents should avoid: 🔹 Controlling Communication: Constantly contacting coaches instead of allowing athletes to build relationships 🔹 Overbearing Behavior: Dominating recruiting visits or speaking for your child 🔹 Criticizing Coaches: Publicly complaining about playing time, coaching decisions or recruiting opportunities 🔹 Unrealistic Expectations: Assuming your child deserves Division I offers based on statistics or accolades 🔹 Misrepresenting Interest: Exaggerating scholarship offers, measurables or recruiting attention 🔹 Pressuring Staff: Demanding offers, immediate responses or recruiting decisions 🔹 Negative Social Media Activity: Publicly criticizing programs, coaches or other athletes 🔹 Creating Conflict: Confronting high school coaches or making excuses for poor performance 🔹 Disrespecting Opportunities: Dismissing FCS, DII, DIII or NAIA programs without considering fit 🔹 Prioritizing Exposure: Focusing on rankings and publicity over development and academics 🔹 Controlling Decisions: Pressuring athletes toward certain programs or making recruitment about the parent WHAT COLLEGE COACHES VALUE: ✅ Maturity and independence ✅ Accountability and coachability ✅ Professionalism and honesty ✅ Academic commitment ✅ Realistic expectations ✅ Genuine interest in their program MY MESSAGE TO PARENTS: ‼️Be involved, ask questions and advocate for your child, but allow them to take ownership of their recruitment These behaviors are potential concerns, not automatic disqualifiers 🚨College coaches are recruiting your child, not you. Help them develop the independence, communication skills and accountability needed at the next level Your involvement should open doors, not create obstacles. 🏈 Support the athlete. Respect the process. Let your child take ownership of their future
