Want to share bc a close friend & member of the KS Track & XC Community could use prayers & support.
Aaron Davidson (BVW & SMN)& his son Nolan were in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Impact was right where Nolan was seated and that resulted in critical injuries.
If you pray, please pray for Nolan and the entire Davidson family.
If you care to support financially you can do that here as well. #NolanStrong

Proud does not even begin to cover how we are feeling today as coaches of these amazing kiddos. They ran their hearts out and all their hard work definitely paid off! Our fellas will be back better than ever next season, and our ladies will compete for a State Title next weekend!

A few years ago, I tracked improvement rates of my college runners and compared it to a whole slew of factors to see if anything correlated.
The most important factor? Did they show up to practice.
Those who missed the fewest days tended to improve the most.

Rule for any performance: You can celebrate or be upset after, but when you wake up the next morning, it's time to move on.
Basking in the glory or wallowing in the pain for too long can lead to negative outcomes. Win or lose, get back to work soon after.

We seriously appreciate the honor! We’ve got an awesome group of young men and women that work their tails offs day in and day out. And we’re extremely proud of everything our boys have accomplished. Thank you again for recognizing them!
