It seems we often equate competitiveness with how we feel about winning or losing. Many times that’s just immaturity in an athlete. A lot of people hate losing but are unwilling to do what’s necessary to change it. That will get you exactly nothing. Achievement requires sacrifice

In high school you may not be a division 1 level athlete. BUT, you can always give great EFFORT and have a great ATTITUDE. As long as you bring these two characteristics with you daily you will never be AVERAGE!
