Sometimes the toughest chapters make you appreciate the good ones much more. Winning culture isn’t about gimmicks and relying on those who succeeded in the past. It’s built by people who genuinely care about each other and pull in the same direction. Baseball should be fun!

What a moment. This is so much more than a game. Thank you for all you did for the game JV!

Justin Verlander's ending was one for the ages. Had to add the moneyball music, because how in the heck can you not be romantic about baseball after something like that?

Had this conversation tonight with someone. The cookie cutter approach is a dangerous one. Teach athletes feel, honesty and accountability to themselves.

There isn't such thing as a "Throwing Program". There isn't a "pre-determined" AMOUNT of throws to make. There isn't a "pre-determined" amount of TIME to throw for. Instead... Take your "Arm For a Walk" and Allow IT to dictate what it wants & needs. PERIOD. #1Arm, #1Career

If you take a visit to a school, meet face to face with the coaches privately, and they say "we will e-mail you an offer this week" after you just spent several hours to the whole day with them...do you consider that a red flag?

My thought is if you can't have this conversation face to face with me, what is the communication going to be like when I come play for you? It's a huge red flag in my opinion, and when kids tell me that's how they were offered, I advise them to look at other options.

Called strike. Ended the game instead of tying it. Tough.

Have had some great conversations with him about all his options since August 1. This young man isn’t only a special talent, but he is wise beyond his years.

I am very excited to announce my commitment to the University of Kentucky. Thank you to my Family, Coaches, and Teammates along the way who have helped me get here. Huge thanks to Coach Mingione and the Kentucky baseball coaching staff for this opportunity. @UKBaseball #BBN

Can’t thank @ZacGoodman_ enough for his guidance and mentorship for Nathan. John Glenn is lucky to have a guy with his background leading their strength program.

College Baseball Player hits a 405lbs Bench Press for a 40lbs PR💪🏻 This past Summer was the first summer since Nate was in High School we got to train without any interruptions. We accomplished all of his pre-summer goals + more. Had a lot of fun training all summer!

Eli’s progression through 3 summers has been huge. This summer he put it together and had some dominant outings in huge games. FB up to 86, a variety of spin pitches, and what’s turned into a good change. He is a rising 2028 and excited to watch him bloom.

PLAYER AND PARENT ADVICE: Go where you can play. It’s great to have dreams, but I see kids on X tagging coaches that they simply aren’t going to get interest from. Be realistic, work hard, and go have fun playing college baseball at whatever level the game takes you.

2029 Prospect Alert! Mason joined a team of 27’s and 28’s and ended up leading our team in a lot of things. If you know the game, you know 2 strike counts statistically carry the least success. 48 of his 97 PA’s went to 2 strikes. He hit over .400 in every 2 strike count!

He had some of the most competitive at bats of the summer, and one college head coach said to me “don’t let him change that swing.” 6’2 lefty hitting SS and one of the smoothest defenders I’ve seen in 33 years of coaching. Very high level prospect potential.

2028’s are on the clock tomorrow. Don’t get caught up in the hype, but rather do your research on what has happened recently at that school. Programs that promote “tradition” when the last few years have been really rough should raise a red flag.

Have had a couple conversations with a big time program about Jimmer. His phone will be busy on Saturday!

‘28 SS/P Jimmey Sequin (MI) was a must-see heading into the #PBFG26 & capitalized on the opportunity: 6.7-runner 23.3 avg hand speed 30.3 inch vertical Adjustability at the plate with some tight turns. Athlete who plays hard‼️ Chance for M2C… @PrepBaseballMI

Evan will put in the work and Evan will be a big time lefty arm for someone. I’d jump now if I were still in the college game.

Top arm in Michigan and #23 nationally…our guy Evan King! @Evanking21

Brev far exceeded my expectations going into the summer. He turned into a big moment pitcher quickly and those stats don’t lie. 83-85 now with command of pitches and very projectable to be in that upper 80’s by next summer. Late bloomer/sleeper in the 28 class.
Brevin Ross@BrevinRoss22Jul 30
What a summer season I had with the 31-3 @miselect16u. I’m proud of a lot of things I accomplished this summer, but the friendships made are the best part of this season. Pitching 32 IP 8-0 w/ 1 save 13.9 P/IP 6 R 3 ER 30 K’s .656 ERA .875 WHIP .141 BAA @CoachJasonBall

Summer ended early to fix an old injury that wasn’t healing. He was on a torrid stretch at the plate against a lot of good arms. Versatile infielder that doesn’t look flashy but makes plays.
