Recruits:
Go where you’re wanted. You’re valuable & don’t need to beg someone for a roster spot. If they’re not showing you love, that’s all the sign you need. There’s a home for you that you don’t know exists yet & you won’t find it if you don’t look 🤞

From what I’ve seen, this is true but:
I feel it’s so lazy (unless you’re getting a million emails). Yes, the first 30 sec should wow me but some kids just suck at editing. I’ve gotten lucky on some good players just bc I sat through their video for 1 min 30 sec & saw something
Harsh reality. Coaches aren’t watching 5-minute highlight reels. You have 30 seconds to make an impression. Thats why the 1st clips MUST BE ELITE. Lead with the best or get overlooked.

I have 2 studs, slightly different in strengths, but quality nonetheless.
Hannah: athletic, sweeper keeper.
Lexi: flies laterally; great distribution.
Both take their own set pieces.

Lot of teams this World Cup that are supposed to be the favorite, playing conservative possession without taking any real chances.
Very few progressive passes, lots of knocking it around & then getting absolutely skinned on the counter. Over dribbling/passing in front of goal.
There are a WHOLE lot of programs at every level still needing goalkeepers and center backs (me included on the CBs).
What do y’all think: Are there just not enough talented ones, are we being unrealistic about the talent we want, or something else?
