Regular season performance is the most objective & accurate way to properly classify a school for a specific sport. Computer Rank them based on season, then properly cast them in the correct tourn class. This can’t be broad brushed across multiple sports & done accurately.

Is there a better way to classify teams than strictly enrollment? IHSAA puts together committee to study 'athletic classification for competitive equity.' More: bit.ly/4zmwxo7

Why classify using variables that MAY correlate with athletic success when we can directly measure athletic success….by sport.

If the objective is truly “competitive equity,” classification should measure competitive performance as directly as possible rather than attempting to predict it through indirect demographic factors.

Very sad to hear this! Akeem did such a great job covering @IHSBCA @IHSAA1 Baseball! Always very professional and attentive in post game interviews & well written & educated articles . Praying you and your family @THEAkeemGlaspie during this transition! 🙏

I just got the call nobody wants. Today is my last day at Gannett. I won't be covering Butler Basketball this season. Firing me weeks before the season starts, with a pregnant wife is beyond crushing. Well, I'm a free agent now.

This might be one of Sean McVay’s most revealing quotes ever. “The lies I told myself were once we win a Super Bowl, I’ll be happy." Sometimes reaching the mountaintop is what finally teaches you the trophy was never supposed to define you...

Boys Of Fall would not have been the same without my good friend @SeanPayton. This is Sean giving a pregame speech in Naperville, Illinois where he played High School football. This speech wasn’t scripted. He spoke from heart. Sean is a great football coach but he is a great communicator and motivator. This speech still gives me chills. Sean I am forever grateful. It’s football season everyone. KC

So schools can choose whether to use the 18” base or the double bag?? @IHSAA1, this is a problem…2 very different set of rules applied for each! Since many fields are being turfed now, just mandate the double bag and be done with it…so everyone is playing by the same rules!

Why is it ‘cancelled’ in the U.K. but ‘canceled’ in the U.S.? Because we gave them that L in 1776.
