Really looking forward to seeing what DeWayne Brown II can do in Year 2 at Tennessee.
At 6’8”, 250, Brown is a physical specimen who uses his strength to carve out position, attack the glass and set rock-solid screens.
But the flashes beyond the physicality are what really intrigue me.
He moves well defensively, consistently slides into the right help positions to wall up or challenge shots, and showed encouraging touch out of the short roll as both a scorer and playmaker.
4.8 PPG | 3.6 RPG in 14.7 MPG as a freshman.
Year 2 should be fun.

It’s not easy to play for winning coaches. They’ll hold you accountable, push you beyond your comfort zone, demand excellence, and expect you to respond when things get hard. There will be days when you’re frustrated, uncomfortable, and challenged.
But for the athletes who are willing to embrace it, it’s worth it. Winning programs aren’t built by avoiding adversity - they’re built by learning how to overcome it.
