Before practice, coaches picked one thing the team had to improve.
Maybe it was:
→ Blockouts
→ Transition defense
→ Shot fakes
→ Communication
→ Concentration
The key is teaching three habits:
→ HELP early to stop penetration.
→ PEEL immediately when help takes the ball.
→ COMMUNICATE the switch.
The beaten defender can't hesitate or keep chasing.
