Jets Camp → White House What a week it was for Jimmy Ciarlo. #GoArmy

The CY99 football camp, named for former St. Joe's star Cy Menard, includes a message that goes beyond the sidelines. northjersey.com/story/sports…

Last week there was a video going viral w/ @DeionSanders talking to his team about being lazy w/ academics. Last week I was informed that a former teammate of mine, who was apparently homeless, died from liver failure. For ANY YOUNG ATHLETES watching this video - I cannot stress ENOUGH how important it is to take advantage of the resources & support around you while you have it. This game fucking ends for all of us. I hope you all play your game for a long time but you are absolutely hurting yourself if you don’t take advantage of the position you’re currently in to grow yourself for a life after your days are done. Life will humble you. And it will be the fundamental skills & education you equip yourself w/ that will carry you forward. Legit can’t preach this message enough.
