Now that a new coach has been brought in, I thought it appropriate to share my thoughts on the last 3 years as ⚾️ HC at Sparta... see below:
Coach Matyas retweeted
Back to back years where the Yankees stepped on your throat. This time without Aaron Judge. You were beat in every damn part of the game. Overmatched across the board.
The Yankees doing this to you should hit in a deep, deep way. It should force you to act with a different level of urgency.
It’s one thing to not be at full strength. It’s another to be lifeless (especially offensively) with plenty of horrendous bullpen decisions mixed in. Ugly.
Thank god for a lockout next season, the @RedSox are not worth the price of admission or viewing. Team of frauds. Manager making dumb moves, Roman Anthony is Charmin soft, all bark & no bite. No heart, no fire, no wins. Thank god we had 2018. #MLB #BOSvNYY #Frauds #FireEveryone
Maye looks absolutely horrible tonight. Terrible reads and sold the 2nd half. Maybe we should've played our starters in the preseason.
Story & Anthony come back, team is down and just like in April, I have zero confidence that the @RedSox will come back. Funny how things go full circle.
What is the point of review if we can't even get this call right? Clear and obvious catch; for all the talk of how ABS & review are needed to get calls right they still somehow consistently screw up.
Can we call it how it is, Willson Contreras looks awful this series and has crashed back to earth. #redsox
Yeah I'm officially on the "we got scammed" train regarding Adley Rutschman. These ABs are absolutely atrocious.
Hate to say it, but it's looking a lot like the April @RedSox are rearing their ugly head again. Lots of opportunities & lots of guys left on base. Someone needs to step up! #mlb #TheRivalry #RISP
Bottom 10 tie game, no reason why the Mets should not be bunting the runner over to 3rd & forcing the Brewers to pull the infield in. Instead they let Bichette hit a pop up to CF. Terrible game management. We over Me mentality needed! #Mets #Brewers #GameManagement #SmallBall
The uncommitted '28 continues to showcase why he's one of the top arms in the state! Super projectable & commands 4 pitches for strikes. @JamesGaven09
Thank you @PennBaseball for a great weekend at camp. Threw all 4 pitches for strikes and topped out at 89. Also added a triple to dead center and backside single.
@CoachMatyas @njrisingrebels @DelbyBaseball
Were we so afraid of Xavier Edwards speed that we decided to have the infield in with 1 out? That ball was a tailor made 4-6-3 if we are regular depth. #RedSox #DefensivePositioning #GameManagement #Marlins
Three years. Nine committed Spartan athletes.
3 D1 | 1 D2 | 5 D3
I’ve stepped away from the head coaching role for now, but I couldn’t be more pumped for what’s next for them. Proud of them all. Excited for what’s ahead. ⚾️ #Committed #SpartanPride #ProudCoach #NewEra #Culture
Great summer season for @barron_quinn11 and a pleasure to coach. The sky is the limit for this uncommitted '28 talent out of @MotownBase. #compete
Grateful for all my coaches and teammates who helped me improve this summer.

An absolute pleasure working with @michael24mejia this summer. Has 3 pitches he can command for strikes regardless of count. Will be a major asset to any collegiate program looking for a frontline starter. #uncommitted #compete
Here are my summer stats from this season with @njrisingrebels.

8 ER
7 BB
32 K
2.2 ERA

@CoachMatyas @CoachKyleVinci
Excellent summer performance from @brendankeown_9. Was a pleasure to coach you this summer & can't wait to hear about what you do this spring for @op_baseball_
Over 31 games this summer with the @njrisingrebels my stats are below:
.418 AVG (33/79) 6 2B | 2 3B | 2 HR
.516 OBP | .620 SLG | 1.136 OPS
15 RBI | 29 R | 23 SB
Super grateful for a fun summer. I had great coaches and teammates.
@CoachMatyas @OPDiamondRams @CoachKyleVinci
Wilson Contreras needs some time off, clearly playing at less than 100%. The ABs are non competitive and pulling down the offense on the whole. Energy just isn't there. #RedSox
