Coach Glen McNew, MBA

I truly believe this is one of the most important positions in hitting. Piping on pants slightly angled backwards and chest behind belt buckle = power.

Numbers will continue to ⬆️⬆️ . More importantly kid is a dawg that fights hit ass off on the mound and gets outs. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Baseball parents of young players: I apologize, it’s a long post, so please read. Hitting hasn’t changed over the last 50 years. Great hitters have had the same movements and same bat paths. What has changed? The bats. A lot of gurus are teaching this uppercut swing, which works great for USSA bats. Those bats are designed to hit the ball a mile, but when your kid moves up BBCOR or wood bats, those are now 280 foot pop-ups. It seems the more complicated the language, or the more devices they introduce, the more likely parents are to go to these coaches. Find a coach or teachers the correct bat path, the correct body movements, and tells you if your son wants to become a great power hitter, he has to develop his body along with his swing. He also has to develop his approach, maybe more than his swing. A great swing only matters if you’re swinging at good pitches. Anyone who’s told you they found the secret to great hitting, they’re just trying to sell you something. Just like someone who tells you they found the trick to easy wealth, that always comes along with someone trying to sell you something. Start my swinging down, get to bat on plane with your lower half, swing through the ball through contact, and finish high. This, along with a strong lower half and understanding how to use it, will allow your son to be a really really good hitter. Swing off only his back leg, or swinging up will not. Last bit of advice, if they are online telling ex professional baseball players that they don’t know what they’re talking about, you’re seeing the wrong person. #baseball #swingit @shegone03 @nextlevelbb @TopPreps

If your kid is going to play sports in college in Ohio, better pay attention to this story. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Heck yea!!! @ToledoBaseball getting a competitor that just flat gets people out! 👏👏👏

This is phenomenal!!!!

Touched a nerve with this grumpy dude. Look at his posts. All like the one ⬇️ trying to demean people. But hey, be you man.

Long post sorry… Bryson was lucky enough to play in Jupiter this past week with a conglomeration of the best 18 U baseball players around. A couple of my biggest takeaways weren’t even about how great the players were, they were about parents and how they talk to their kids after they had games that they did not view as successful. 1. Parents, you weren’t as good as you were in high school. Let your kids succeed and fail, but be proud of them just the same either way. 2. Stop trying to push the success you never reached as being your kids responsibility. #letthemplay @BaseballDudes48 @TopPreps

What a well deserved honor for Coach Schafer. 👏👏

All 3 for @BrysonMcN17 in the first game with @TroskyTeams at the WWBA World Championship. No more steal attempts against the entire weekend.

I’ve been around hundreds of coaches over 25+ years. I’ve never known a more deserving coach and more importantly better human than Coach @DougLittle1 Legacy will live on for a long long time.
