Trading for Alontae Taylor would benefit this team more than trading for Jonathan Taylor

Why wouldn’t you celebrate a turnover that could potentially set up the score to take the lead?

Call me old fashioned but, I think football experts should have at least a basic understanding of offensive line play

Bengals LB Swayze Bozeman has quietly had a really good camp. Acquired via waivers in May. Had a nice play here that earned applause from Dexter Lawrence at the end.

Due to family and coaching commitments, I am taking a step back from my Bengals coverage. I will no longer be hosting a podcast and I will be significantly less active here. "Death is but a door. Time is but a window. I'll be back"

Jack Endries with the strong debut. Tight End continues to be one of the more interesting roster battles. I am finding a way to keep Endries in any scenario.

Backtracking: a coach says my info re the Bench is totally wrong. I just replied that: The strongest coach in the NFL, Scott Peter’s who I saw Bench Press 560 or so when I coached him at the NYG and is a world champion in Jujitsu doesn’t believe in the Bench.

Marvin Lewis knows Cincinnati better than most. He says the Bengals’ trade for Dexter Lawrence was “huge” because it gives that defense the kind of presence and leadership it has been missing.

Hey @pauldehnerjr @JamesRapien Can we get an update on Shemar Stewart Is he on the field watching DL or rehabbing or anything? If so does he seem engaged?

Running a fake punt in a preseason game is ingenious You put it on film so your opponent every week needs to account for it, which means they are spending practice and meeting time talking about it even if you never run a fake in the regular season

2. Erick All learned on Saturday that he was medically cleared for the start of camp following multiple knee surgeries. “I had to leave the training room,” said All. “I got teary-eyed for a bit. “That was a big moment for me. (The tears) kind of caught me by surprise. I was chomping at the bit and once you hear those words it kind of got me a little bit.”

Bengals edge Shemar Stewart, who was carted off yesterday after a scary looking knee injury, suffered just a hyperextended knee and will have treatment, per @RapSheet and me. The belief is no ligament damage for Stewart. “He’s good,” one source said.
