Every teammate should be able to answer 3 questions:
1. What does this team need from me?
2. Can my teammates count on me?
3. Am I making my teammates better?
Great teams are built by players who stop asking, “What’s in it for me?” and start asking, “How can I help us win?”

Nick Saban asked his team a simple question:
“Do we have show dogs on the team, or do we have hunting dogs?”
Show dogs want to be seen.
Hunting dogs want to win.
The answer tells you everything about your culture. 🏆

Nick Saban said, "Everybody talks about leadership, but I think it's also important how many guys on a team need to be led."
The best teams are player-led and have multiple team leaders.
• They own the process.
• They lead the process.
• They hold each other accountable.
