🏉🇿🇦 OFFICIAL STATEMENT 🇿🇦🏉
In the last few weeks I've been asked time and time again why I have taken on the challenge of @SADeafRugby, many saying it is a step down for me. I disagree with this and I would like to refer you to the attached statement which may answer questions.

As a global society we are starting to become super negative but when you meet people like Sakumzi Vapi and the team from Sakumzi Rugby Organisation, you realise just how many amazing people are making a positive difference in this world. We should all be celebrating them.

@udocarelsesa, @coachpdv and the rest of the star cast on @SABC_Sport + the amazing commentary team who gave us gems like "smash and grab", "let me stand up" and "hospital pass" - you guys gave us the time of our lives during this @rugbyworldcup.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

To see the coaches and rugby team's faces was one thing but then chatting to the coaches and teachers about how this kit will help change their rugby programme is on another level completely.
On to the next...

We get to celebrate the fathers and father figures in our lives this weekend and I wish that all fathers will lead their families, leaving a positive mark with lasting integrity.
That they may keep the faith and find the power of joy.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL!
The future of Rugby in our country lies at grass roots level as much as anywhere else.
I was in George at the weekend for some local rugby.
It was hammering down with rain but just look at how the community was coming together for their teams!
Packed house!
