𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗖𝗛 Pastor Samuel Nandi was on his way to church on Sunday morning, September 20, in Plateau State, Nigeria, when he was ambushed and shot dead. His church secretary was also killed, while his son was critically wounded. The attack happened in Maraban Kantoma, near Dorowa Babuje in Barkin Ladi, amid a wider wave of attacks that reportedly left at least nine people dead across Plateau State that weekend. Five labourers travelling to Gana-Ropp were also killed the night before. A pastor was simply going to church. A shepherd was on his way to gather with the people he served—and he never made it to the service. Please stop scrolling for a moment and pray for the family of Pastor Samuel Nandi, his congregation, the wounded, and the grieving families in Plateau State. Pray for Christians living under the threat of violence. Pray for protection over churches and communities. Pray for comfort for those who are mourning. And pray that the violence will end. “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.” — Psalm 116:15

1. Start your morning in silence (1 Kings 19:11-12) Do not rush into your phone, conversations, or activities immediately you wake up. Give yourself moments of quietness where your heart can become still and attentive to God.
