Physical training and spiritual health were never meant to be separated. How a man stewards his body directly shapes how he leads his family and serves his people. Glad to see gyms building around this foundation.

The price is paid during the quiet reps when no one is watching.
In the gym and in faith, consistency is never glamorous. It is just daily stewardship long before anyone sees a result.

Check out this shot of Ja’Marr Chase’s incredible touchdown grab against Houston.
Look at the feet… wow.
This as good as it gets right here.

Clients walk in and say they feel fine, but their shoulders are pinned to their ears and their breathing is shallow before we pick up a weight. The body never lies about what kind of week you had.
The weight room reveals this before anyone says a word. A client walks in, drops their bag, and says they feel fine. But their shoulders are up to their ears and their stride is tight. The body tells you what kind of week they had before warmups start.
Too often the church treats bodily health as optional or awkward. Spiritual formation and physical stewardship belong together. Taking care of the vessel is necessary to carry the calling God gives you.
As we continue our series on Total Wholeness, we’re turning our attention to something we often overlook: our bodies.
What does it actually look like to steward the body God has given us? How do we care for ourselves without turning it into vanity, condemnation, or legalism?
Scripture reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honour God with them. (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)
From what we eat and how we rest, to exercise, healthy rhythms, regular checkups, and knowing when to seek qualified medical advice, we’ll explore practical ways to care for our bodies while keeping our focus on God.
Join us this evening by 6pm WAT @cci_ikorodu as we search the Scriptures and learn what it means to steward our bodies well.
