Good life lesson from Pat Murphy about how worrying is a "waste of time."

Every kid asks what does it take to get recruited, for George Fox it’s simple.
1. Production over Potential
2. Competitors over complainers
3. Habits over hype

Learn to crave discomfort. The elite athlete doesn’t run from pressure, they train themselves to enjoy it and see every difficult moment, every obstacle as evidence they’re getting stronger, improving, and growing. It’s all how you view the discomfort. Perspective.
Coach Ryan Borde retweeted
Continuous learning is critical. Elite athletes maintain curiosity and understand how important it is. They never stop learning and are always seeking new knowledge and skills. Make learning a daily habit.

You don't have to take our word for it... This place is special!
We visited @georgefox in Newberg, Oregon last week.
Here are our top three takeaways:
01. Beautiful Campus
There's a little something for everyone at GFU including wooded walking paths, brand new academic buildings, classic grassy quads, and much more.
02. Commitment to Athletics
The athletic spaces on campus including locker rooms, weight lifting facilities, offices - and even a golf simulator - show the commitment behind @GFUAthletics
03. Great People
We had the chance to meet 10 coaches and the AD during our visit at George Fox and all were extremely welcoming. We enjoyed the tour around campus with the football staff and would love to get back for a gameday next season.
Bonus - check out the dining hall 🔥

Rooted in faith. Driven by family. Built on discipline, respect, and relentless effort. Polynesian values and George Fox values aren’t different paths—they’re the same foundation.

Amazing things are being built in the PNW. Totally impressed with the culture and the direction of the program. Sit down with Coach Crace and you will be a fan.

The moment you think you’ve arrived, you start to decline. Complacency turns champions into ex-champions. Hunger and humility must outlast success if you want to be great. Complacency creates a blatant disregard for doing what is right.
