Your middle schooler doesn't need "sport specific" training with a private trainer. They need to stop playing that sport year round, eat real food, sleep well, and become a better athlete through strength and speed training.

People will want to blame turf, female anatomy and the menstrual cycle for the rise in ACLs. Yes, these can be part of the multi factorial puzzle 🧩 .
But can we first address the elephant 🐘 in the room?
Many girls soccer ⚽️ players have just finished an 11 month season.
Combine that with no consistent strength training during that time and we have a disaster on our hands.

If ALL high schools had access to a registered dietitian and certified sports nutritionist it would be transformational not only in athletics but academics.
If kids had access to healthy eating education and fueling sport performance it would be an absolute game changer in regard to mental health, risk of disease, and more.
Our healthy lifestyle education and sports nutrition partnership offers the very solutions to the needs sports parents and young kids face.
I've been speaking to athletes , schools, and programs for the last 8 years. Kids that know better, eat better, and perform better.
They also tend to have less mental health issues, less school days missed, less injuries, less anxiety and disordered eating, healthier relationship with food, and healthier habits that they carry into adulthood.
Let us help you help your kids and athletes. Get in touch today to discuss your needs and what we can do to help!

The problem with accepting late work without penalty is that due dates exist for CONTENT reasons, not just CONVENIENCE.
If you didn't do the work yesterday, you won't be ready for today's lesson, and you'll learn less.
If you didn't turn in your draft, you can't revise. Etc.

Yup, the same test that factors into whether I’m an effective teacher. 🤦🏻♂️
