On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrow’s light.

Steve Sewell was my pop warner football coach. His son @CoachSamSewell was our QB (total stud) and we won the Super Bowl
Dec. 1, 1985 — All seemed lost for the Denver Broncos—at Pittsburgh—when @johnelway threw a pick-six late in the 4th quarter. When Elway got the ball back, he led a game-winning drive. Mike Harden then topped it off with a pick-six!
@KarlMecklenburg: 4 sacks

Honored to have the opportunity to recognize the legacy of Jack Trice in this game! To be a former player & now coach @CycloneFB, I am forever grateful of his courage to be the 1st Black athlete and stand for something bigger than the game.

Team efficiencies are based on the point contributions of each unit to the team's scoring margin, on a per-play basis. The values are adjusted for strength of schedule and down-weighted for "garbage time" (based on win probability). The scale goes from 0 to 100; higher numbers are better and the average is roughly 50 for all categories.

Happy 6⃣0⃣th Birthday, @SteveSewell30! The Denver Broncos drafted Sewell in the 1985 1st round. He was a Bronco RB from 1985–1991. Sewell was a proficient pass catcher, which included 2 huge receptions on the 1986 AFCCG's "Drive." He was also a high school football head coach!
