People will complain that Notre Dame is not in a conference and then act like this would be more difficult for them 🤣🤣🤣
Connor@tweetsofcatOct 12
Spent the last 15 minutes staring at this hypothetical conference realignment. It’s perfect. No conference championships — best regular season conference record wins conference. Each conference sends winner to CFP + 6 overall at-large bids (16-team CFP).

Pat should’ve fell on it there. 40 seconds off. @Chiefs

Wanna see me get real sideways… pretend like a sub varsity game doesn’t matter. It freaking matters. Every kid in our program matters. Their success matters. The standard don’t change no matter the game or the opponent. @stevehoffman74 taught me that.

The unfortunate other side of the coin is that 20 years later, unless you throw as hard as you can, you’re not going to make it to even the minors. I would love to teach my players that control and getting guys out will get them more looks..

Absolutely incredible stuff from JV here Velocity isn't everything, and learning that is what transformed him from a hard thrower that spent 120 pitches in 6 innings to a legend that lasted 21 seasons in the big leagues and will sail into Cooperstown on his first ballot

It’s worth mentioning: one or two kids said “ugh rain?!” and scared the cloud away. I will never forgive them.

On top of this, for non-seniors, NFL Linebacker Mike Maslowski said to us when he visited my college baseball team: “You never know when you’re playing on the best team you’ll ever be on.” Whether you have another year or not, there’s never a guarantee.

Dan Campbell has a special spot in his heart for high school football. I asked the Lions head coach if he had a message for players and coaches beginning their seasons. His answer was as fantastic as you’d expect it to be.

BY POPULAR DEMAND: Anatomy of a Rickey Henderson steal, segment by segment — steal break to headfirst slide. The hands, the push, the drop step, the lean, the shin angle, the ankles, the arm swing, the slide. What 1,406 stolen bases looks like.
