Please join us in welcoming Coach Comeaux to the @TarkAthDept football family!
Coach Comeaux brings a lifetime of experience and a true passion for the game. We’re excited to have him join our staff as we continue building something special for our student-athletes. Welcome to the Herd! 🤘🏈
Football has been part of Coach’s life since he first put on the pads at 5 years old. He went on to play at Caney Creek High School, the collegiate level at Sul Ross State University, and continued competing in semi-professional football in both El Paso and Houston.
Football has shaped the man and coach he is today, and he’s excited to pass that passion, knowledge, and love for the game on to our Longhorn athletes.
“I’ve lived this game. I love this game. Now it’s time to teach it and give back to the next generation of Longhorns.” 🤘🏈

Nick Saban - Responsibility as Coaches
- "Leadership is all about helping someone for their benefit. If you're helping them for your benefit, that's manipulation."
- "If you just think drawing up plays, running pass patterns, playing defenses, playing Cover 7, Cover 4 and running this blitz or that blitz and that's about winning... It's about getting the players to buy in to the accountability that it takes for them to be successful & for them to be accountable to the other players on the team."
Lets go Horns!
