What an incredible story! So thankful for Avery and his example of how to not only handle adversity, but THRIVE in it! Thank you to @Carter_Yates16 for telling his story! Love you, Avery! #AveryStrong
After leukemia stole his junior football season, Jefferson High School’s Avery Lawson faced a fight far bigger than football.
His road back to the field is not a Hollywood story. It’s filled with pot holes and set backs and triumphs. It’s a real life story, which makes it even better.
