It's still fascinating after 54 years. The two guys that didn't hunt shots looked the best. They just played hard and let the game come to them. End result? They looked great.

Emma @Emma_Philp2029 came in from New York State for her second session. She plays for the Rhode Island Thunder program and already has excellent lower-half movement, creating a ton of force while maintaining strong direction through her torso.
Early in the workout, her top hand was getting too far away from her back shoulder, making the barrel path long and causing it to cast too early. Our focus was keeping the top hand closer to the rear shoulder as she entered the turn, allowing her torso and back to carry the barrel tight and release it with speed.
When that hand separates too far, she can get jammed inside, cut off her path to the outside pitch, and struggle with consistency.
I introduced a tennis-ball carry drill at her rear elbow. Within several swings, she began to feel the difference. Her carry and turn became noticeably tighter.
Building awareness so she can recognize the movement and make the adjustment herself.
