My dad taught me this before speaking at a close friend’s funeral. The way to not get too emotional is to realize that you have a job to do and to serve.
Same thing applies to athletics. Focus on the job you have to do. Nerves/Anxiety only happen with an idle mind.
Another wisdom drop from Pat Murphy...
"You've got a job to do. This is not about you. If you're nervous, that's about you."

We’re excited to welcome Rick Sabath as the new High School Director for Building Champions Baseball.
Rick brings a strong background, including a Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology from the University of Kansas, six Coach of the Year awards, and three State Championships. His experience developing student-athletes on and off the field will be a great asset as we continue building a program focused on excellence, growth, and opportunity. #bcbaseball

Also, please share with the girls Golf team how proud we are of their efforts this year as across the board. Besides qualifying for state as a team, they have placed first in multiple meets this year, and had multiple golfers bring home medals at both the Varsity and JV levels.

Also, our HS Girls Golf seniors were pioneers for Rock Creek. Starting the program, they have qualified for state as a team twice now, and seen our first girls golf medalist. All of our Senior Girls Golfers have made a mark with our program that will live for years to come!

Scott delivers the barrel to a FB over the heart of the plate and doesn’t miss it for a 97EV 2B to the pull side.
