Thomas Davis explains how he went from 3 straight ACL tears to 3 straight Pro Bowls “I didn’t use those years of not being on the field just locking in on getting back on the field. I used it to become a better player. I used it to become a better father.” “I used it to become a better citizen within the community and giving back with my foundation. There were so many things I felt like God called me to do with that time.” “Because you don’t go from tearing your ACL three consecutive years… To then three years later making the Pro Bowl for the first time three consecutive years.” “It was a very humbling experience. But it also showed me and a lot of other people… If you believe in yourself… You put the work in… You don’t lose sight of your goals and your dreams and your aspirations… You can accomplish and you can do anything in this life.” “So many people said, the team should turn the page on me. If you want to play with your kids one day, it’s time for you to walk away from the game. He’s washed up. I heard all of that shit.” “And every single day that I went into that weight room and that training room… I used it as motivation.”
