Top 20 players by league minutes so far
1 Josh Mulligan 23 (Hibs) 435
2 Ryan Carr 21 (St Mirren) 429
3 Joe Bevan 22 (Dundee) 402

18 Finn Yeats 22 (Falkirk) 135
19 Kai Fotheringham 23 (St Johnstone) 124
20 Bailey Rice 19 (Kilmarnock) 85
Note: I'm not suggesting all these players are international quality, it's just looking at the player pool, I've used U'23 to give a better reflection rather than U'21 where the data would make even worse reading!
"IMO" hopefully, Tony Docherty finds room for Henry Fieldson, Daniel Bennie, Eseosa Sule, Bobby Wales & Bailey Rice in his next squad if space.
I envisage maybe 4 promotions from the last U'21 squad with Robbie Ure, Luke Graham, Colby Donovan & James Wilson stepping up.
As always comments open, feel free to share/interact or argue :)

Lewis returns to Aberdeen…
Peterhead FC can confirm that Aberdeen FC have exercised their option to recall Lewis Carrol from his loan spell at Balmoor.
Lewis fitted seamlessly into the group and proved a popular member of the squad during his time with us. With plenty of potential, we fully understand the need for regular game time at this stage of his development.
We thank Lewis for his efforts and wish him all the very best for the future 💙

Robinson asked today how he can install that belief in his side, answering time is what he needs but he knows in football it isn’t a given.
But early in the season to be saying ‘must win’ games but it certainly feels that way tomorrow, need a few goals to breed more confidence.
🗣️ ‘Our season won’t be defined by losing to Celtic’
🗣️ ‘Time, but you don’t get time in football’
Stephen Robinson reflects on his sides performance at Celtic Park, insisting his side need to show more belief in their performances, which will take time according to the Aberdeen manager.
Aberdeen take on Kilmarnock at Pittodrie tomorrow.

Interesting to hear the comments on if fringe players don’t move on this summer ⬇️
Thoughts?
➡️🗣️ ‘We have to be careful we don’t block younger players pathways, and they have to be significantly better (any new signing)
⬅️🗣️ ‘I have the luxury of seeing them everyday, if they aren’t in the squad then I don’t deem them good enough’
Stephen Robinson speaks on transfers, and if those players not getting in the squad will have an opportunity, should they not leave Aberdeen before the deadline.

Aberdeen taking a touch too many on the break, Aremu and Guinness-Walker looked 2 best players in the park so far.
Feels a big one for both sides today, both had a lot of change over the summer and will be a baring to see where this Aberdeen side are at and the mentality of Derek McInnes rangers.
📺 PREVIEW | Aberdeen vs Rangers
@CobyHend previews today’s game as Rangers look to respond to their European exit.
Rangers are unbeaten in their last 6 meetings against Aberdeen, but have only won 1 of the last 6 at Pittodrie.
