When I first came on to the project, I was tasked to rehaul the visuals of the game and give it a more mature look, despite the characters being semi deformed(chibi-esque?). Coderad knew what he wanted and gave good directions. I delivered a gritty oil painted look to it, which ultimately became the style for the game and the other artists that worked on it. I came in at 2022 and designed and made more than 200 assets for the game until this year's production finishing. This was my first ever gig as a game artist, it's also my first time I ever did full on painterly style for my art (oil paints irl can be pricey so I only went to try when I went digital) and I have to say that the experience was very intuitive and productive thanks to the good direction and clear vision for the project. 10/10 would make art for videogames again.
