I’m not here to make Web3 sound complicated. I’m here to make it make sense. I’m Erick, a Web3 Explainer based in Kenya and the founder of @BlockSchool_ , a Web3 education platform helping African beginners understand blockchain, digital identity, AI infrastructure, and the next internet without the jargon or hype. I didn’t start as a Web3 expert. I started as someone searching for simple, honest answers about what all of this actually meant. So I decided to become the person I wished I had when I was starting. Here’s what I’ve built in public: 📖 30 Days. One Thesis. One Series. For 30 days, I explored one question: How can the next internet verify who is behind an account, transaction, or AI action without sacrificing privacy? No price predictions. No speculation. No hype. Just one infrastructure idea explored from different angles. 🔗 Full series: xitter.cf/CodeWith_Erick/status/… 🎓 NFTs Explained From the Ground Up A beginner-friendly series for anyone curious about NFTs but tired of technical jargon. Just the fundamentals, explained step by step. 🔗 Start here: xitter.cf/CodeWith_Erick/status/… What I’m building next: Monday ~ Builder Questions ~~~Sharp questions about Web3, AI, identity, and the next internet. Tuesday ~ Web3 Explained ~~~Complex concepts broken down so beginners can understand them. Wednesday to Saturday ~Internet Of Verified Intelligence breakdown. ~~~Real-world stories about trust, verification, identity and emerging technology as breakdown 30 Day-Series one at a time. Sunday ~ Recap of the week. ~~~A simple recap of what we explored and learned during the week. I’m not building another account that tells you what to buy. I’m building an education brand that helps you understand what you’re actually looking at. For African beginners. For curious minds. For builders who want substance over speculation. That’s what BlockSchool Africa is being built for. If you want Web3 explained simply, practically and honestly, you’re in the right place. Welcome. I’m Erick. The Web3 Explainer.

This is why we ethereum:0xcbf4d5efa82e32a9187385480a7c74cb062b956c I've never shared the story of what happened to my business on my own timeline, but it's becoming more relevant. Years ago I thought I had made it. I spent my younger years being diligent, and instead of partying etc. I built a business, and it rose to full time and more within a couple years. I quit my job, and was getting ready to write a book in my free time. And other important matters that I will not speak of. More that soon fell apart and was lost. The rest is in the story below. 8k per month to 200 within a year. Destroyed by AI and Web2 corruption. I am going to link to Murad's recent video further below, and I agree with him on how important it is to watch. As you watch, note the absolute perfection of SATOSHI in reference to the concept he is conveying. Note the absolute perfection of the Satoshi Nakamoto narrative in reference to anyone, or anything. It's been a while since I have spoken like this... I have recently realized more than ever how important it is for me to rise to what I personally believe is a once in a lifetime opportunity. And to let this be known among others who could use a chance. Who are searching for something. I don't know your story, but if you are like me, it's been a long road. We are seeing the opportunities rapidly dry up and overtaken by AI and big corporations and outright saturation, right in front of our eyes as if in fast motion. This is music chairs, and the music has stopped already my friends. The world is scrambling for a seat. Read the story below and you'll get an idea for what the opportunities in Web2 look like these days. And when it comes to Web3, speaking in terms of narratives... most people are trying to find something in the leftover scraps. Things that had meaning, that were done and went big. But most everything became fleeting trends and derivatives. Smaller and smaller things that have less and less relevance to the masses. Less and less chance to go big, less and less chance to stand out. Now don't get me wrong, I've got some animal memes, only characters already loved by the people. There are a few good ones out there. But when it comes to ethereum:0xcbf4d5efa82e32a9187385480a7c74cb062b956c we are talking about something with power beyond what people are prepared for. Everyone is looking for something, trying to weigh the relevance of one thing vs another, vs a sea of others. Vs a universe of others. Everyone is looking for something smaller than Bitcoin, downstream of Bitcoin, derivative of Bitcoin. And this is why the ultimate narrative lay hidden in plain sight. It is upstream of Bitcoin itself. Everyone is looking for a point of significance in this universe. But everything in space and time traces back to the singularity. The origin of the Web3 universe. The focal point of the entire industry. The name that means something special to all of us. Satoshi. They write the name in the sky and put up statues all around the world, and speak the name only in legendary tones. The level of reverence is unparalleled. All of the culture and meaning, every narrative, all converges at a single name. This my friends is the other side of the Bitcoin coin. Same narrative, 2 coins. The execution of the narrative through code, and the expression of the narrative through the creator. Be prepared for the thing that makes more sense than anything, to make sense to the entire industry, from degens to the biggest names in the industry. We are all Satoshi.

Sure. I started a content creation business / website from scratch and it reached about 8k per month within 2 years. I quit my job. AI got big, and websites started publishing articles in my industry by the masses, releasing more content than I had released in years in a matter of days. What's worse is they were publishing complete garbage telling people to click on buttons that didn't even exist Etc. But Google still let them rank above me because of how much content they have. Then Google changed their search algorithm to favor big businesses and crush the small ones, and over the next year I watched my income go down to 200 per month. I wrote 100 more articles during that time and it didn't even make it budge. Had to crawl back to the job scene. For a little bit of insight I still rank number one on Bing, because I still have the best content but it's a rigged game now. I also had a YouTube channel that I had been running for years, so I tried to lean on that to see if I could get traction there and then I got a message saying that I got demonetized because of low effort content and spam practices (their A.I. system destroying good people). I was given the option to do a video appeal, and they gave me my monetization back and apologized for their error. Then a couple weeks later I got the same message and got banned completely. They said that a human would review my account but I was sent in automated message pretending like they reviewed it. Banned from all channels. Years of work gone. Then I thought I would try to lean on Etsy because I was starting to get just a tiny bit of traffic. I started putting work into it and the traffic went back down the more work I did, and as I read into it online it's the same case over there as everywhere else, it's flooded by AI and the algorithm is corrupt. I lost my house in the process.

Happy new week BlockSchool family.🫶 We're sorry for the silence. A family matter pulled our facilitator and X account manager away for a few days. Guess what? We're back in full force today. Let's get back to the grind as we unpack the lessons. Apologies and much love🙏🏿🫶🩵
What's one Web3 word you've nodded along to without really understanding? Gas fees? Liquidity? Staking? Seed phrase? No judgment here. Reply with yours. I'll explain the most common one tomorrow.

@jahid0x put $100 into redotpay to try p2p account got restricted for "security reasons", now he can't withdraw his $120 usdt either docs sent, verification rejected, 3 days of silence
My experience with @RedotPay has been really disappointing. I was using RedotPay for online transactions and decided to try P2P. I deposited $100, but my account was suddenly restricted for “security reasons,” leaving me unable to use P2P. When I tried to withdraw my funds, I faced the same issue. Here's what happened: • Oct 18: Requested a withdrawal and contacted support after several difficulties. • Oct 18: Emailed support as instructed. • Oct 19: They asked me to complete verification again, which I did, submitting all valid documents, including my bank statement. • My verification was rejected despite providing the requested information. • I emailed them again, but it's been 3 days with no response. My $120+ USDT withdrawal is still unresolved. @RedotPay, I've followed your instructions and provided the required documents. Why is my withdrawal still blocked, and why am I not getting a response from your support team? As the support system is really sus, I had to write a long tweet, hopefully they will do something !

Imagine an AI agent that can act, pay and transact without waiting for human approval. But who verifies its identity, pays its bills and gets its transactions processed? That’s where identity, payments and network infrastructure come in. @Concordium Agent Registry, x402 and concordium:native each play a different role. The future of AI agents isn’t just intelligence. It’s trusted infrastructure working together.
For AI agents to operate economically, three functions must work together without being confused with one another. Identity → Concordium Agent Registry verifies the agent’s ownership and its association with a verified identity. Payment → x402 carries the payment flow between the agent and the service provider. Network fees → CCD powers transactions on Concordium, while a sponsor or facilitator can cover the fee on the agent’s behalf through a sponsored transaction. These are separate functions, each solving a different part of the process. Identity establishes who stands behind the agent. @x402scan handles payment. concordium:native covers the cost of interacting with the network, even when the agent does not pay that fee directly. That separation matters. An agent’s ability to prove who stands behind it, pay for a service, and get its transaction processed are three distinct requirements. @Concordium brings these components together without treating them as one system. That is how the infrastructure for the agent economy needs to be designed: each function has a clear responsibility, and the connections between them are explicit. concordium:native

The next phase of Edel Markets is taking shape. Private trading infrastructure on Canton was the foundation. Now comes the liquidity required to turn that infrastructure into a serious market. We've been working behind the scenes with some of the industry's most established players. More to come Monday. The pieces are coming together.

Follow-up for builders: Name one project; protocol, startup, institution anywhere in the world that is seriously solving AI agent identity verification right now. ~Not theoretically. ~Actually building it. If you can’t name one, that’s the most important answer in the thread. Let us here you out👇
In 2023, stablecoin settlement volume quietly surpassed PayPal’s annual transaction total. Most people missed it because nobody rang a bell. ~AI agents are about to do the same thing to human initiated payments. And right now, not one of those agent transactions requires verified identity. That gap is either the biggest risk in the financial system or the biggest opportunity for whoever closes it first. BUILDER QUESTION | WEEK 3 A thread 🧵👇

My answer: @Concordium , through the x402 integration. Not because it’s the only answer. Because it’s the only answer that solves it at the protocol level not as a feature, not as a layer on top, but as a condition of participation from day one. Everything built on top of a weak identity layer inherits that weakness. Everything built on #Concordium’s inherits the verification.
