Kinda miss having friends who speak life into you.
Everyone is dealing with so much shit rn it feels selfish asking someone to speak positivity into your situation and as much as I try to be the friend that does that for others, nobody remembers me ๐
How are you lots finding genuine friends and meaningful connections on this app?
Because, honestly, it feels like almost every interaction comes with an agenda. You meet people, have conversations, and sometimes think youโre building a genuine connection, only to realise that there was an underlying intention all along.
It gets to a point where you feel you have to build walls around yourself just to protect your peace and prevent people from gaining access to your life.
And thatโs a rather unfortunate way to exist in a space where people should also be able to connect, learn from one another, build friendships and genuinely be there for each other without expecting something in return.
Is genuine friendship becoming that difficult to find, or have we simply become too guarded to allow it to happen?
Itโs honestly becoming a matter of great concern.

Based on that tweet, you come across as reflective and values-driven. You see opinions as mirrors of character, convictions, and what someone will or wonโt tolerate. Someone who thinks carefully about people rather than just scrolling past them.
I believe that whatever your opinion is on an issue reveals something about who you are. Your opinions are often a reflection of your values, your convictions, your understanding of the world and, sometimes, the things you are willing to tolerate.
And that, in itself, is sufficient grounds to form an opinion about someone's character.
What you believe in says something about you, even when your actions haven't caught up with your beliefs.
