If you think the term "Iowa nice" is a cliche, tell that to the random family that just picked up the tab for our Coe XC team's dinner tonight in Elyria, OH before we had a chance to pay our bill! Even though they have lived in OH for 20 years, they were Iowa natives originally!

If you are an uncommitted Iowa high school SR running at state this weekend, there are still opportunities to continue T&F in college. Our coaching staff is at the meet all weekend and would love to talk to you! Please email [email protected] if you're interested. @MikeJaytrackxc

Congratulations to the Coe Men's XCTF Class of 2026! Thank you to our five Seniors for everything they contributed to our program. They are all going to be extremely successful in their life and careers, and we can't wait to see what they accomplish! #WeBuildWinnersInLife

Good luck to everyone at Drake Relays this weekend! If you are an uncommitted Iowa high school SR who wants to compete in college, it's not too late. Our coaches will be at Drake & would love to talk with you! Please email [email protected] to connect. @TrackGuyUSA

Only once in the past 20 years (2019) has Coe had 4 men's sprinters go sub-23 in the 200m during the same season. This year's team did it in a single meet on opening weekend of the outdoor season with a SO and 3 FR! Sargent - 22.14 Morris - 22.62 Johnson - 22.84 Corbett - 22.99

When recruiting turns into an alumni event. Great to see Coe T&F alumnus Trevor Eckols (Coe '22) at the IATC meet with his team today. Trevor (left) teaches Biology at North High School in Des Moines, IA and is the Head Girls Track & Field Coach there.

Our men and women's head coaches will be at the IATC meet both days. If your recruitment is still open, please email [email protected] (boys) or [email protected] (girls). We would love to talk with you!

We have a couple spots left for teams in our high school indoor meet on Thursday March 26. If you're interested, please email [email protected]. Meet info is being sent out this week. @MikeJaytrackxc

Our head coach will be at the meet to see some of our committed recruits compete, as well as others we are still actively recruiting. If you are an uncommitted SR who is interested in continuing with T&F in college, please email [email protected]. We would love to talk with you!

We have been fortunate to have great assistant coaches over the years at Coe and we couldn't be more excited to add Drake Woody to our staff as a full-time assistant. He is going to be a great addition to our team!

Great crew for an open track session tonight with highly motivated T&F athletes from Coe, Wartburg & Saint Ambrose. Our upcoming open track sessions for local T&F athletes home for winter break are Fri. (Dec. 19) and Mon. (Dec. 22) at 5:30pm. $10 per person.

Four weeks from today! Don't forget to register for the annual Coe XCTF Alumni Meet. It's a family event, including race options (and medals) for kids, and the event is free of charge. We look forward to seeing many of you there! alumni.coe.edu/e/2026-alumni…

Our men & women's head coaches will be at Seminole Valley Park today for the Cedar Rapids XC Inv. We would love to talk with athletes after the races who want to run in college. Please DM us or email [email protected] (men) or [email protected] (women) if interested.

Women's XC made it a Coe sweep of the team titles at Webster University in St. Louis by placing 1st out of 8 teams! Lily Mayo earned the individual title, out-kicking 2nd place for a five second victory!

Webster University Opener team champions! 1st out of 8 teams down in St. Louis with four freshmen in our top seven making their collegiate debuts. Proud of our guys for thriving in 87 degree temps at race time.

Great to see Coe XCTF alumna, Elaina Biechler, getting so much well-deserved attention!

Huge honor for recent Coe Men's T&F alumnus, Chris Baker! Chris's athletic career at Coe included a conference championship, three trips to the national championships, and two All-American honors. He is also Coe's school record holder in the weight throw & hammer throw.

Always an honor to be invited to @TrackGuyUSA's garage clinic. No one does more for XC/T&F in Iowa than Mike Jay. Last night's discussion topic was all about team culture, and rightfully so. Everything starts with culture & we are proud of ours at Coe XCTF! #WeBuildWinnersInLife
