Tonight, at the final @RoyalAirForce Salute Taker night at this years’ @EdinburghTattoo, the flypast over @edinburghcastle will be a P-8A Poseidon from 42 (Torpedo Bomber) Squadron based at @RAFLossiemouth.
It has been great to play a very small part in supporting the @rafredarrows getting to Canada for #MapleHawk24. Good luck with the tour!

So so worth the wait. It’s been a tough year for the @RAFBBMF but today was a glimmer of light. The Lancaster took to the sky for the first time this year. Well done to all of the crew and engineers on the flight….she’s back!!!

An awe-inspiring Arctic scene for the #SteadfastDefender24 Carrier Strike Group.
Whilst continuing with @NATO exercises in the High North, our ships were treated to some incredible displays of the aurora borealis.

The RAF Poseidon aircraft is to receive a new weapon.
The UK manufactured Sting Ray torpedo is already in service with the @RoyalNavy and is being integrated onto the maritime patrol aircraft.

A Poseidon MRA1 from @RAFLossiemouth and an Atlas A400M from @RAFBrizeNorton have been working together to help rescue a sailor from the Atlantic Ocean after his yacht was critically damaged in storm Ciarán.

Sad to say farewell to our USN exchange officer as they completed their final flight with the Sqn last night. Their invaluable contributions have left a lasting mark on our force and we'll cherish the camaraderie we've shared!
