Late this morning @ColaFire 3rd Shift crews were called out to Ray Kelly Road after getting reports of a house fire 🔥.
Upon arrival, crews found smoke pushing from the eaves of the residence, indicating a significant fire in the attic area.
Due to the location of the incident and the need forew a sustained water supply, an engine company was assigned to a remote water point, where tankers established a shuttle operation to transport water to the scene.
Through the coordinated efforts of the engine and ladder companies, firefighters were able to rapidly locate and extinguish a well-advanced attic fire, preventing further extension of the fire throughout the residence.
Engine companies quickly deployed handlines into the home and began attacking the fire from below. As the engine company advanced the interior attack, a ladder company performed vertical ventilation to coordinate with the interior crews and improve conditions within the structure

This evening @ColaFire 3rd Shift crews responded to a home on Cleveland Street in Columbia for a reported structure fire.
Engine 13 arrived on scene shortly after 7 p.m.
Crews were also able to conduct a quick search of the residence and confirm that all occupants had safely escaped prior to our arrival. The family’s pets were also brought safely out of the home.
The company completed a 360-degree size-up of the property and reported fire venting from a window with black smoke pushing. Firefighters quickly deployed attack lines and began fire suppression, resulting in a rapid knockdown and containment of the fire.
