In honor of @barbecuefest this weekend, here's a look at early vote in Davidson Co. The current margin is R+28.1 vs R+49.2 in 2024 and R+46.0 in 2022. This margin has grown 12.1% since the start of early voting. 2022 Dem early voter turnout is at 46.1% vs. 30.9% for the GOP

This morning, I notified the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, and commissioners of the state and county Boards of Elections, about “Pay-for-Play” Rebecca Kassay. Kassay spent her last campaign hammering her predecessor over his disbarment. Now a nonprofit, to which she steered $15,000 in taxpayer money, threw her a fundraiser. She needs to stop hiding and answer for this.

Rebecca Kassay broke the law. She sent $15,000 of your tax dollars to a nonprofit, and that nonprofit turned around and raised money for her campaign. Then the state matched those donations with even more of your money. This morning I sent a letter to the Attorney General demanding an investigation. It’s a classic Albany pay-for-play.

The trend line continues to improve for the GOP in NC. The early vote in-person margin is still worse than 2022 and 2024, but improved 2.8%. This margin is with modeled party applied to unaffiliated voters. #ncpol

Early vote data from Pennsylvania is showing strong Democratic turnout in Philadelphia and its suburbs. Day 3 numbers: Philly up 12% vs 2022, suburban counties up 8-9%. This tracks with what we're seeing in other key metros. The early vote advantage matters.

Even in Albany, most people know that you don’t give out taxpayer money in exchange for donations to your campaign. Rebecca Kassay either doesn’t know the law, or she doesn’t think it applies to her. I look forward to a full investigation by the Attorney General.
