Collin Robinson (@Collin_TheGuard ) opened @BCATHOOPS by putting together the kind of performance that reminds everyone why true floor generals are so valuable. The shifty guard controlled the pace, created opportunities all over the floor, and made the game look easy while helping his team stay in rhythm from start to finish. Every possession seemed to flow through Collin's decision-making, and his fingerprints were all over the action whether he was scoring himself or creating for teammates. Robinson finished with 26 points and 9 assists while raining in 4-7 from beyond the arc in a complete offensive showcase. His ability to balance scoring and playmaking kept defenders in a constant state of uncertainty. Give him space, and he can make it rain from deep. Crowd him too closely, and he can break down the defense off the bounce. Help defenders were forced to make difficult choices all game long, and Collin consistently made them pay for every mistake. What makes his game so dangerous is the combination of strong handles, high basketball IQ, and outstanding court vision. He sees openings before they fully develop and has a knack for delivering the ball exactly where it needs to be. Time after time he set the table for teammates, creating easy scoring opportunities and keeping everyone involved in the offense. His ability to facilitate without overdribbling allows the game to move naturally while still keeping the defense on its heels. The scary part is that while Collin loves getting others involved, he can explode offensively at any moment. When the defense starts focusing too heavily on his passing, he quickly shifts gears and becomes a scoring threat. The beauty of it all is that he never forces the action. Everything happens within the flow of the offense, making his production even more impactful. Collin Robinson spent the game proving that when a guard can score, facilitate, and control the game with equal effectiveness, he becomes one of the toughest matchups on the floor. @wcsFHSHoops @PrepHoopsTN
